I went out and finally bought physical copies of The College Dropout and Graduation, and I think you may be right... Graduation may be Kanye's best album. I've heard everything on there before, but after listening to it in its entirety I can definitely see why you chose it as your favorite.

Isn’t it the greatest, though? Ugh, so good.

I will bet real money that Olivia Munn's next career move is going to be a cabaret show where she sings "geek versions" of Rihanna songs.

Paul Rudd. Would he make a good ginger? Ugh ok I just realized this is your icon so I feel obsequious. But this came from a ~genuine place~

I’M NOT EVEN LEGITIMATELY GINGER, YOU GUYS

I’M A NATURAL BRUNETTE

SO GINGERDOM SHOULD NOT DICTATE THIS!

But actually Rudd plays a lot of endearingly socially awkward well-meaning types and also a lot of huge dicks and I feel like I fit right in the middle of that venn diagram, so this would actually work wonderfullly.

A part of me really wants to say Sean Hayes - not his character(s) or anything just him. Because he has a very special type of humor and is very sarcastic. I also think you two would get a long famously. Jason Bateman, Seth Meyers, Simon Amstell and Seth Rudetsky also come to mind. Sorry for all the "S" people but maybe this is a sign?

I’ve always felt a kinship with the letter S. Oh my god these are all great answers though.

Ginger-ish Thomas Lennon.

Funnily enough, I told Caity the same thing (minus the gingerish) but really, I see myself as more of a ginger-ish Showalter.

Still, though, let’s all look at this photo again.

I guess I see it!!!

Oh god I kind of want to say DJ Pauly B, is that weird? You both have those light blue eyes and the same kind of, idk, personality a bit? Like I imagine you being the quiet, quirky type like him.

I want you to know that I support this answer even though Pauly B is far more attractive than I will ever be

I guess from that post it's not a stretch to say you probably enjoyed Midnight in Paris.

I actually haven’t seen it yet. I heard it was good, but I haven’t seen any Woody Allen movies made after Match Point. Not that it’s a point of pride or anything, just that I kind of went through a phase where I watched as many of his movies as I could and after that one I was like, “You know, I don’t think I need to watch any more.”

Oh, and before anyone asks:

  1. Hannah and Her Sisters
  2. Annie Hall
  3. Bullets Over Broadway

I was born in the wrong era; I would love to have been a teenager when Bach, Mozart and Salieri were all the rage, not Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black. When not everybody had cell phones or computers, you had to go outside and herd cows or take the pigs to the market all day. When corsets, bustles, and hoop skirts were the fashion, not skimpy shorts and belly tops, like it is now. When kids cared more about living past the age of 12 than popularity and sex. When you could stay out until it was dark and your parents weren't worried about you because your parents were probably dead from the plague. Shakespeare plays, revolutions and powdered wigs, when street urchins were the cool kids, not the outcasts. People didn't cake themselves in foundation, just good old fashioned dirt and oil from the kerosene lamp was enough; on girls and boys. When people were happy with themselves. And dying from the plague.

Reblog if you wish you were a 1690s kid (:

…this is just a bunch of random periodotical stuff which was just ignorantly put together and called “1690s” shakespear didn’t even exist till the late 1750s and bach was a child in the early 1700s. But that doesn’t even matter because his music wasn’t greatly realized till the 1900s. And the fashion..well it’s fashion you can wear powdered wigs and hop skirts if you like. Though I doubt you even know why they did in the first place

Though I doubt you even know why they did in the first place

Though I doubt you even know why they did in the first place

I just wanna quote Quiniva for a sec here:

myheroesarefallingapart replied to your post: Unpopular Tumblr Opinions:

WOW, this is an unpopular opinion? An Education was good, but nothing compared to Precious.

I think it’s only an unpopular opinion on Tumblr, where we-royal-we froth at the mouth at every cutesy-melancholy movie about a pretty white girl wearing dresses and having “life problems.”

Aug 1, 20116 notes
#Life problems meaning ''Everyone wants me to go to the best university in England but I think I'd rather go to France with this guy who picked me up off the street one day. Oh but wait. Apparently the guy who picks 16-year-old girls up off the street is ACTUALLY A SKETCHY CHARACTER. Never mind. JK. I'll go to college.'' #Like I know it's adapted from a memoir but... let me play you a song on my tiny violin.

Mo’nique in this movie is proof that when comedians do drama, things can be amazing.

Is Patty Lupone that lady that sings all those Steven Sondheim songs?

She’s not as talented as Burnadette Peters.

That Angela Landsbury certainly has a run for her money.

Audra Macdonald is better than all of them, to be honest.

Beth Level is pretty good too, you guys

That Heidi Blickinstaff from (name of play) is getting a name for herself, I think.

I thought her name was Heidi Black-n’-stiff though
