Dear Tumblr.

Here are things that are not misogynistic:

• Questioning whether Lana Del Rey deserved to perform on SNL because she had four songs that got popular on the internet.
• Stephen Spielberg not inventing a new female character to increase the female presence in The Adventures of Tintin, a movie based on a comic series created in 1929.
• Liking some funny women and not liking others, and not loving them all equally because “TINA FEY IS JUST AS GR8 AS AMY POEHLER AND LIKING ONE MORE THAN THE OTHER MEANS YOU’VE BOUGHT INTO THE SOCIETAL EXPECTATION THAT WOMEN HAVE TO CONSTANTLY BE PITTED AGAINST EACH OTHER.”
• There’s probably more but I have to get off Tumblr and the internet now or else I’ll have a brain aneurysm from the “You don’t get to have opinions about pop culture because INTERSECTIONAL SOCIAL JUSTICE THEORY” vibe this place has taken on over the past year.
