that I am a big fan of Judaism. It has given us many things that I love: bagels, great comedians and musical theater writers/performers, Yiddish slang, some of my dearest friends. Totally not throwing shade at the Jewish people here.
However, I have no love whatsoever for Brooklyn Hasidim who drive as if they exist in a perpetual game of Donkey Kong.
I have nearly been hit FIVE TIMES in the past THREE DAYS in my neighborhood. I’m not even jaywalking or crossing against the light! I’m just trying to go on a run or get home from the train! It’s frankly starting to get pretty Final Destination-y. I’m wondering if perhaps I should just accept that it is my fate to be mowed down while crossing at a stoplight by a Hasidic woman in a black SUV.

The best was when hasidics tried getting rid of bike lanes in Brooklyn because they were offended by girls wearing “overtly sexual bike riding outfits”.

Trust me, reform Jews like Hasidim even less than you do. Fucking overt patriarchy.
