You know what bugs me? How all female MCs’ careers seem to be predicated on feuding with other women in hip-hop. Girl-on-girl hate makes me sad in general but here it’s especially blatant and stupid. It’s like, I know we live in a patriarchy, but there is room for all of you in the industry! You just have to stop insisting that there can only be one! Rap music is not the Hunger Games! Just calm down!
I swear, I want to get Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj and Azealia Banks and all their satellites into a room and have the Tina Fey character from Mean Girls yell at them for an hour.
