oh great now is the time when we condemn every single person who tweets about how maybe we should hold back on this whole tosh thing because comedy is subjective, granted that the “joke” itself was awful and unfunny

i’m really excited to see tumblr turn on morgan murphy, similarly to that time mindy kaling retweeted wittels’ tasteless polanski joke (was it wittels or jeselnik?) and then she became the sj antichrist

go on, guys! a lady admitted that she thinks people are overreacting and that she’s said some fucked-up shit onstage too! let’s crucify her! who’s with me?!

(ps i still think that the whole situation is awful. i’m not supporting the dude or his actual words at all. but i think the people who are still yelling and screaming about how anyone who “supports” him is just as bad are also really annoying. this isn’t going to be the turning point where all comedians realize that no one should ever even allude to the idea of rape onstage, and i know this because there are tons of people wholeheartedly supporting tosh. so. let’s cool it on the ones who are just like “hey, maybe everybody should calm down.” because everybody should calm down. and this is absolutely the last post i’ll make on the issue. EVERYBODY CALM DOWN.)
