EXCEPT I’M PRETTY SURE YE SHIWEN IS UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR DOPING, OR AT LEAST IT’S BEING ALLEGED BY A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT THAT’S WHAT’S GOING ON. I’m sorry, guys, Lochte’s phrasing wasn’t the greatest here and I know that, but look at the goddamn context. He has every right to be skeptical when this girl was barely in the top 5 at the world championships last year. I know I would be, and I’m a woman. Ugh.
