Why doesn’t Ugly Betty get more credit on the internet?

• Betty, Hilda, and Wilhemina are all WOC who get shit done
• You’ve got Alexis, a transwoman character who also gets shit done
• Marc and Justin have the gay stuff covered (and Justin’s coming out storyline was basically the best thing ever, suck it Glee)
• This is just a bulletpoint to address how great Amanda is, like just in general, because Becki Newton is a super beautiful lady WHO IS ACTUALLY REALLY FUNNY, SO THERE, IT IS POSSIBLE JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT
• Despite the title, it’s actually very body-positive and Betty is both pretty comfortable with herself and also scores some super hot guys despite being “ugly for a fashion girl” (and the entire idea is that she’s actually not ugly at all next to normal people, only within the fucked-up confines of the fashion industry)
• I MEAN SERIOUSLY THOUGH BETTY SUAREZ IS A MODERN HEROINE WHO GOES FROM PICKING UP AFTER HER BOSS TO BECOMING A MAGAZINE EDITOR IN LONDON WHY DON’T WE TALK MORE ABOUT THAT
