Filed under: this is just really pretty idek ugh can we talk about my clove feels for a while like ok here's the thing: i think she and glimmer are equally fascinating for two totally different reasons because clove is - in my mind at least - an actual sociopath. that's why she's there. they sent her because she feels no remorse about ki... lling and she actually really enjoys it and same with cato actually. d2 raises gladiators basically. they don't fuck around when they pic... k their tributes because they want to choose people who are going to WIN. whereas to me glimmer is interesting (and has been since i first read the book) because with her you get into this sexual exploitation of... a teenage girl who most likely can't even read or write very well. AND THAT IS JUST AS FUCKING SAD. they're both really depressing charac... ters. so my fav AUs are ones where either one wins. because on one hand it's like... this is all they've ever been trained to want. but on the other hand - as we find out later - the winners have it equally bad. because they have to mentor AND if they're cute the capit... ol turns them into sex slaves. AGAIN. FUCKING DARK AS SHIT. so basically in conclusion: team clove! team glimmer! team cato! team marvel sometimes but in my mind he's just the biggest derp of the f... our of em. he's like the jerry of the careers. CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP YOUR LIFE WITH BETTER DECISIONS MARVEL?!
